Join me for a quick chat with some sweet 6th graders all about using your "SMARTs" for Internet safety.  What are the SMARTs? 

S - Be Safe
M - Don't Meet Up
A - Accepting Emails Can Be Dangerous
R - Reliable?
T - Tell Someone!

Here are some crazy stats:  

• 20% of all inappropriate and explicit Internet content involves children.  
• 65% of 8-14 year olds have been involved in a cyber-bullying incident. 
• 96% of teens use social networking applications such as Facebook, Chat rooms, and blogs.
